Four Things Christian Men at Work Can Learn from Colin Kaepernick and Tom Brady

As you watch the Superbowl this year, ponder for a moment what we as Christian men at work can learn from Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

You probably know who these two men are.  I say that because I know who they are even though I’m such a non-sports fan at this stage in my life that I watched a total of half a game of football all season.

On this Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, I’d like to answer the question “Cant  We All Just Get Along”made famous by Rodney King, by asking another question “How Many Races Are There?”

My answer to that second question comes in two parts.

We Are Part of One Race

I believe the Devil has used this concept of race to divide us and distract us.

Politicians have used it to increase and maintain their power.

You’ll Probably Like this Catholic Church Election Video

A friend shared this with me, it’s a Catholic church election video that was produced and run on TV, as I understand, for the 2012 election.  I don’t agree with a lot of Catholic doctrine and I try not to get into politics much on this blog, but I liked this video and if it inspires Catholics to vote for the issues of life, marriage and religious freedom in this year’s election or any other, I think it’s a good thing.

There are issues that I think protestants and Catholics and can agree and unite on and I’d like to think this is one of them.

What do you think?
